The System 4 is a readymade basic configuration by Analogue Systems consisting of modules needed for a well-equipped monophonic synthesizer with CV/gate control however is aiming to offer something slightly different as the System 1
The Make Noise - CV Bus Shared System was originally designed for Alessandro Cortini's personal Make Noise system. It provides visual indication of level, rate and polarity for up to 4 control signals that will be shared throughout a patch. These 4 control signals are color coded and distributed across the center of the system allowing for quick, clean and intuitive patching.
Doepfer's basic System 1 is a good allrounder complete system for classic subtractive synthesis and more. If has a MIDI/CV interface, sample & hold, clock processors and more. The enclosure used here is a wooden low-cost case LC9, which has a third, unused row for modiles - perfect for expanding the system!
The A-100 Basic System 2 contains all the components of BS1, but provides the Midi interface for those who want to integrate the synth into their MIDI setup. MIDI to CV/Gate connections are sent via an internal buss to the corresponding receivers (A-110 VCOs and A-140 ADSRs) unless connections with patch cords are made
